These are the pictures I took at Diamond Lake!

foggy diamond lake I took this picture when I walked down to the lake from my camping space! It was only about 1/4 mile to the store; A pleasant walk down a small foot path through some fir trees.

Diamond Lake Marina Sunday, I drove to the resort and took more pictures of the marina. It has an ominous feel to it. It seemed to be a nice day for a fire and a book.

lake 8 It was pretty foggy so you can't even see Mt. Thielsen, the highest peak in the southern Cascades.

lake 9 Once again this is looking to a point where you should be able to see Mt. Thielsen but it is in the fog.

I didn't take a lot of pictures here due to the rain and the fact that it was my first step out! I did quite a bit of checking on things in and around the trailer to make sure I didn't have any trouble brewing.

Poor Striper. She got sick right after we got on I-5. She seemed really upset about the kitty carrier even though it was right next to me. I cleaned up her bed and took her out of the box and she sat on the seat next to me. Later, she explored the back of the Suburban and kicked it, but she seemed more composed. I left on Monday the 20th and went to La Pine about 30 miles South of Bend. I was in a perfect place to explore the area!
