These are some of my pictures from the La Pine area! Oops, it's about 1am. Think that has anything to do with this mess?

Hidden Pines sign This is the sign to a wonderful little RV park in La Pine. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Nash in Hidden Pines, La Pine This was where our home was for a couple of days. La Pine is a perfect base camp for many interesting things.

Hidden Pines' wishing well Every day before I left, I made a wish. I just figured it wouln't hurt.

Wickiups' dry dam Thirty five years ago this reservoir was full. Now it is as empty as most peoples walets. I camped here for several months when I was 18 years dumb.

Sign for the boat ramp to nowhere This sign implies you can put a boat in the water here. After many diasters, they dumped a load of bolders at the end.

The boat ramp! While I was here, I saw a mature Bald Eagle. What a beautiful sight. I was in awe and didn't even try for a picture.

If I would have stayed for another day I would have gone to Christmas Valley. This is an area I heard " the jack rabbits are like ants running around". I thought this might be worth looking at for an AR15 trip with the Saiga for backup!
