I walked to the little market down by the lake and took some pictures
so I now have pictures of a stormy Diamond Lake and my camp spot.
This trip was not planed. I just started at Diamond Lake because it is close and beautiful and I wanted to make sure there were no major kinks in my rig or gear! What a wonderful place to start a road trip. I used one of my pictures here to show my first stop and I set it up so if you click on my stop name in the itinerary; I.E. "Diamond Lake for a day or three" you will go to a page with photos of that location. Won't that be cool? Ah, if I can do it? I see everybody is nodding "yes". That's great.
I took this picture about noon on Sunday. It had been raining since I got there. It seems I'm waterproof! Who could have figured?
I do have a rough itinerary as follows and you can click the location to get pictures of that site if I have it up to date:
[Diamond Lake for a day or three! Arrived => 9/18/2010]
Christmas Valley for a couple of days! I skipped this spot while I was in La Pine due to time restraints.
[I landed in La Pine at the Hidden Pines RV Park! Arrived => 9/20/2010]
I stopped at Burns completely exhausted. I didn't even unhook the trailer! Arrived => 9/22/2010
Boise, Idaho for about a week!
I was planning on leaving first thing in the morning, but I forgot to change my clocks to central time. By the time I realized it I had just started breakfast and really didn't feel like rushing. I may stay another day; it just depends on how I feel when I wake up and smell what ever it is I smell to make big decisions like this! Don't worry, I'll keep you in the loop...
I wrote this page without the book the first time but I wanted to add bullets and other things so I have looked up a couple of things. I will really get it F*!?#d up now that I'm using the book! I thought: " Wow, wouldn't it be nice if I knew how to write web pages?" But then I thought "If I did, I would be trying to figure out how to write a blog!"
